The technical solution of the present invention with regard to the technical problems illustrated above goes as follows: a mechanism for regulating the parasol surface of a parasol, consisting of a connecting body, which is arranged on the straight parasol rod and is connected to the inclined rod . A slot is provided along the axis of the straight bar, into which a gear strip is placed. A clamping tooth is attached to the inside of the corpus shell, which is fixed at one end with the gear strip. It is characterized in that the other end of the clamping tooth is connected to the upper end of the push button by a shaft. The push button is mounted for central rotation in the body. The lower end of the push button and the body shell are connected by a spring. The improvement consists in that a convex sliding groove is provided in the inside of the front end of the said body shell, where the aforementioned clamping tooth is installed to increase the stability. The first axle bolt is preferably arranged between the body shell. The other end of the above-mentioned clamping tooth and the upper end of the push button are provided with bolt holes. Said clamping tooth is connected by the first axle bolt to the axis of the push button. A second axle bolt is preferably arranged in the said body shell. A suitable bolt hole is provided in the inside of the body shell, in the middle of the said push button there is a corresponding passage through which the second shaft bolt is rotatably mounted in the bolt hole of the body shell. For the sake of improvement, a small bolt is provided in the so-called corpus shell on both sides of the straight bar, to secure rollers that match the straight bar. O A further improvement is the provision on both sides of two roller wheels in an up-down relationship, which are in contact with the outer wall of the straight bars. A further improvement is to place a protrusion for positioning at the lower end of the said push button, to which said spring is attached between the push button and the body shell. Compared with the already known technology, the advantages of this present invention are that: the direct axis connection between the clamping tooth and the push button simplifies the structure and reduces the production costs.
